Intro To Action Pistol Shooting

June 3rd at 1:00 P.M. in the clubhouse SHFC will be having a Intro To Action Pistol Shooting
class. There is no charge for the class and is open to members and non members.
If you have thought about doing some type of action pistol shooting, or have some interest
in what it is all about then you should come. The class will cover the following main points

X. Arriving at the match
X. Safety Rules
X. Equipment. Classes and Divisions
X. Scoring
X. Range Commands
X. Range Etiquette
X. Shooting the stage
X. Any other questions that you may have.

The class portion will take approximately an hour.
After class you will have the opportunity to shoot a couple of stages. A stage is a course of fire
that allows you to draw from holster, shoot multiple targets while standing or moving, and a
reload or two someplace during the course of fire. If you don’t have a holster we will start you
from a ready position, you will need enough magazines to hold at least 20 rounds and a 50
round box of ammo.

Class should be done by 3:00 to 3:30.
